Urban Sound Studios

...is a music production & recording complex, a meltingpot of musical genres in the heart of Oslo. A creative playground for real music.

We strongly believe that music should come from the heart and soul, and not driven by the marked alone, and we try to make the
very best out of every single production, big or small.



Located in the old chocolate factory block at Sofienberg, apart from studios, the block houses Black Box theater, art galleries,
dancers, a hidden jazz café, an underground nightclub, other creative groups and an infamous black metal band.
Just around the corner are green parks, calm cafés, steaming nightlife and easy access to public transportation.
